Cebu Graffiti

If graffiti was this carefully made in Manila, then maybe vandalism wouldn't be so painful to look at.

Yes, I'm in Cebu. It's Christmastime but it feels like summer!

Taken at 2:53PM whilst inside a cab. My parents and I on our way to the IT park. Mom had a massage while I loitered around.

Purple and Yellow

One retro looking deep purple car. Oh yes.

A yellow lady bug? Maybe it wanted to be different from the red ones.

The streets gave me my presents two days too early!

Baywalk Scenes

I didn't want to go home yet so I went to the Manila Baywalk with David and his friend, Sam. She had to take photos for her photography class. How cool is that?! Oh, you can also take a look at her beautiful photography here. I don't have a Dslr YET, but I'm glad to have my point and shoot.

{Manila Bay will always be famous for sunset views}

{Paved streets lighted by rainbow colored matchsticks}

Manila Bay is the two kilometer stretch along Roxas Boulevard, nestled between the US Embassy and the Cultural Center of the Philippines. It just had  major works done so there are a lot of people visiting the baywalk. The Malate Church, Remedios Circle, and the Nakpil street bars are just close by. And oh, if you plan on going there by car, park your automobile somewhere close so you can visit more sites and you wouldn't get a headache trying to get a parking spot!

Ciao!

Yesterday Was Ninoy Day

Yes, yesterday was Ninoy Day! Whatabout? Well, you'll feel patriotic if you wear yellow and loiter around the streets for a bit. HEH.

I was enjoying the cold early morning weather at around 5 in the morning. I took a shot of the moon trying to seize its time before it gets shone off by the sun.

My boyfriend David together with his band The Lights of 1964 performed at Magnet: High Street. Here are some pictures taken before their gig:

David with his camera that I'd be later in charge of.

Jet, the drummer boy, looking at the weird light.

Thana and Marion. Oh, Marion is the vocalist of The Lights of 1964.

I just realized I wasn't able to take a picture of their bassist, Jopet. But here's his girlfriend. Shani! Weird leg at the background that I would like to get rid of but I'm to lazy to do so. Meh.

Did I mention local fashion designer Kate Torralba was there too? She had this long tube dress on that I wasn't able to take a picture of. Oh yeah, the lady can sing. Her rendition of Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun = powerful.

Other bands performed too. There was Twin Lobster, Inday Bote, and another band whose name I forgot. Sorry. Yes, I'll remember to bring a pen and paper next time to take down notes.

Make Love Not War

Today, I went around Makati with Phy.
She's been wanting to visit this place ever
since I told her about it. This store is just right next
to where I had my Interior Design internship. Talk about luck!

First Philippine Cosplay Convention

Event: First Philippine Cosplay Convention
Location: Robinsons Place Manila
Date: March 29, 2008

Note: David and I were supposed to have lunch together but his cousin made us tag along in this convention. It was for free, so we were happy to look at people dressed in their costumes...

{I'm not an anime fan, but I liked how this girl pulled off this outfit.}

{Black ensemble with black platform boots}

{She said she's Cleopatra. But hey, cosplay is about portraying fictional characters, right?}

Lampside Queen

{Fancy Light}

There's this fashion boutique along Pasay Road, just beside BPI.
I went with Ate JayAnn to look inside the store but I got too shy.
Maybe next time.
I know it doesn't take much to ask.
I'm just too shy :(

 Oh, by the way, this is

 {Ate J rockin' her new 'do}

Had fun walking around the mall in circles hoping to find something unique but didn't.
